SECURITY & SUPPORT
We’re pleased to have been named “One of the 10 Best WordPress Support Services” in 2016!
We’ve recently added a convenient new way for you to request support straight from the dashboard of your WordPress website. When logged in, just look to the top of the navigation pane for a new link to Cinch Support. Click it and your request will be routed to the support team. You can still contact support by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org or logging into your account where you’ll also be able to track past support tickets.
Attempted hacks, overwhelmingly conducted by web bots, have not been slowing down. A common point to entry by these bots are out-of-date plugins, and the average WordPress site now runs 12 plugins. The top three out-of-date and compromised plugins have been Rev Slider, Tim Thumb and Gravity Forms. Over the past 30 days, Cinch has experienced zero successful hacks and zero new blacklistings to any of our customer’s sites. On average, your site is probed by bots 50-100 times a day, everyday.
It’s our goal to keep your web server as up-to-date and secure as possible, to ensure high uptime, and to provide reliability and peace of mind.
We’ve upgraded you to run PHP 5.5. If you have a WordPress site, this is very important as the software that powers your site will require this version of PHP within a few months. PHP 5.5 provides some technical enhancements as well, plus it sets the stage for a future PHP upgrade that looks to provide great site speed improvements.
30 Day Uptime Score

Upcoming Service Work
At this point no major service work is planned for the next 30 days.
